RE: Nvidia GTX 970 - Is It Still Worth Buying?
Yeah ... good one guys ..
So I bought the GTX 970 G1 Gaming card - GREAT
But would it fit properly in my ANTEC NINE HUNDRED 2 V3 CASE? ... NO!!
You (I point that at both Adam & Max) DIDN'T TELL ME how long the bloody thing was (surprising as you 'bois' should know length is where its' at)!!!
I digress ...
Anyway - my chassis is riveted - HAVE NO FEAR - I busted through, moved my hd, added rails etc, etc, etc ... now visually it looks AWFUL!

So -
a) do I buy a new case - then spend the time (which I have very little of by the way) refurnishing everything
b) sod it - and just buy another card (same as what I have - RADEON HD6970) and run 2 - OR can I put in another RADEON compatible since its' gunna be hard getting another one of those
c) just replace with a radeon card you told me about - RX 480 or something?

INFO you may need:

Mobo - SABRETOOTH Z77 - don't wanna change this .. I like the name
CPU - i7 2600k - don't wanna change this either

ADAM ...
Between nappy changes (for you I mean) - can you please take a look and see if 2 cards would then handle DOW and BF1 for me please.
Just looking for the most hassle free option - I don't have time to muck around and refurnish to be honest and refuse to pay someone to do it. Plus, I have some pics Mole sent me and I'm pretty sure the PC guy will report them if he does some snooping in my folders.

If easiest is to just run 2, I just might 'donate' the GTX 970 to whomever sends Mole the MOST GROSS dp !!

keep the 970 talk to the people you brought it from maybe can swap for a smaller 970 with only 2xfans on it

.. Read edit above ..

No .. I wont want to downsize if I kept it.

Plus - the card is 'slightly warm' .. if you get my drift - can't take back lol

I agree with austin i have msi and i love it. Loli new case over and out. We didnt know how small your hole was or length so dont blame us you were asking about cards and if i recall we both recommended RX 480.

Ah .. not sure where you insert your g/card max (although have a fair idea now).
Nevermind ... I'll sort it next week.
