I thought everyone loved a good skid!!! Haha hey sugar that rex looks likr it was the year u could get those selectors where u could transition power from like 60/40 rear and front to like 90/10 rear and front... Is that how he got that skid happening?

RE: Post Your Ride(s) Here
I think the STi had a diff lock controller and maybe a front and rear adjuster but never a full to rear.

The WRX in my video had rear wheel drive only. You remove the front diff centre and shaft and put a locker in. The locker just holds all the parts together that the transfer shaft would normally do. In return you get zero drive up front...

It confuses the heck out of people when you're all crossed up in a RWD rex .... Not a good idea with big boost, he has blown 3 diffs now doing it.. He is back to AWD at the moment..

Hey Novak, I'd be keen to see some pic's, I have a mate I grew up with currently building a E21 323i as a Drift car..

looking good, i reckon the 4L ford engine should work wonders for sliding, but are you going to throw a turbo on it or keep it NA? shouldn't really be needed as the 4L has alot of power for something so small >_<

RE: Post Your Ride(s) Here
Yeh I'm a bit anti ford, only due to reason I bleed red. Wink haha.. but yeh the 4l are pretty awesome.. I think his plan is to one day turbo it.. but I'd imagine he's just trying to get the ground work done first.. he's pretty skilled at modifying stuff to "make it fit" the only skill i think he's missing is from a real car builder is.. every car builder comes to a time where they go I can't find the part i'm looking for.. SO they make the part themselves..

but hey with any project.. it's all about learning.. If anyone is looking to do an Injected 5l conversion into a VK i'll tell them exactly what not to do.. haha..

I'll be glad to jump into a project once my house is finished building.. just don't have the space at the moment.
