Team Play
It is getting good...But as we get more players it is very obvious how much team play is a factor.

Teams must work out a defence strategy. Have a roll back plan when you are behind the frontline.

Work at least in pairs

Have a balanced load out. (Interesting in how important EMP and anti vehicle are)

looking forward to tonight (mythical 20 so close)

harry

RE: Team Play
a recommended squad loadout is;

• AT with EMP
• SMG with Drone Support
• Assault with Air Support
• Assault with Ground Support

generally the assault rifle and the submachine gun are the best weapons for many purposes however shotguns specialize in CQB, rockets for destroying vehicles, EMP sticks, Drones, Sentrys etc, Snipers are pretty obvious

some tips which may help your chances tonight (that I often use myself) are;
• if an obstacle such as a tank or sniper has you cornered and you know you will die, prepare to switch to a load out to counter that unit in your next respawn; although it sounds like a waste, it is more often than not that other players will be focusing on objectives or kill lords and won't be there to support you

• stay within 70m of your squad mates and watch eachothers backs; This makes your group as a unit much more effective - especially for calling out choppers and tanks that you may not be equipped to fight yet so you can run away

• only EMP rocket launchers (tier 3 EMP equipment unlock) will disable the A-10 Warthog planes - the other easiest ways to kill it are using the unique rocket launcher found at the top of the tower objective, shooting it with an AAA vehicle, mounted weapons, or by shooting it down with other planes

Most importantly; ALWAYS join a squad - if you are unable to find one then make one;

X: this is your squad management button; move your mouse in any direction and left click to select an option
>X
>click APPLY TO SQUAD
>select a squad from the list

>>if no squads are shown then;
>X
>click CREATE SQUAD
>press X again to reopen the menu
>select MANAGE SQUAD
>select all the players you want to invite

A SQUAD HAS A MAX LIMIT OF 4 PLAYERS

I hope this helps all of you; if you need more help with the squad management interface feel free to ask harry, myself, alfie, or mick

RE: Team Play
If you make a squad and then select manage squad it will show you a full list of players on your team - this is a function that works live all the time, so if people switch teams or leave the match it will account for it

4 players is the limit to how many 'green highlighted' team players there are because those highlights are marking out squad members for everyone in that squad and 4 people to a squad is the limit (which could probably be tweaked)

A refresher for those that aren't savvy with what I'm talking about;
Name colour = status
red = enemy
white = enemy/friendly that just spawned
blue = friendly player that's not in your squad
green = squad member (name also listed on the left side of your screen)

on the radar:
red = enemy (only lights up if you have a drone or direct visual contact in a pretty close area)
white = squad member
blue = team player (not in your squad)
moving blue objective marker = your squad leader (you can spawn on them if they are alive - this usually takes longer than spawning on a point)

objectives:
red = enemy controlled; enemy players can spawn here
white = neutral or contested (see capture progress bar)
blue = friendly team controlled; allied team players can spawn here
••• Please note:[the progress bar is a coloured bar that represents the capture progress on an objective]

progress bars:
• Progress bars appear beneath your radar/minimap in the top right corner of your screen
• Progress bars fill up from LEFT TO RIGHT when you are CAPTURING an objective - once captured they will turn BLUE
• Progress bars decrease from RIGHT TO LEFT when you are LOSING an objective - once it has turned EMPTY it will NEUTRALIZE
• Progress bars that are NEUTRALIZED will turn into a WHITE objective and will;
[A: BE CAPTURED BY A FRIENDLY TEAM PLAYER AND TURN BLUE
[B: BE CAPTURED BY AN ENEMY TEAM PLAYER AND TURN RED
[C: STAY WHITE - THIS MEANS AN EQUAL NUMBER OF ENEMIES ARE ON THE OBJECTIVE AND PREVENTING CAPTURE; KILL THEM TO CAPTURE THE OBJECTIVE

• IMPORTANT •
> some objectives either;;
A: will be a destruction objective - these DO NOT have a NEUTRAL state; this means they will either be CAPTURED or UNCAPTURED depending on if they have been DESTROYED by the ENEMY TEAM or REPAIRED by your FRIENDLY TEAM (WELDING TORCH in the GROUND SUPPORT equipment kit can REPAIR these FASTER)
